Welcome to the 50th Masonic District of The Grand Lodge of Texas A.F. & A.M. located in the Capitol City and Travis County. Freemasonry has been growing in Central Texas for over one hundred and seventy years since the Chartering of Austin No. 12 in 1839. From one Lodge we have grown into eight Lodges located in North Austin, South Austin, Central Austin, and East of Austin, with many more in neighboring districts. All working toward the same goal, to make good men better.
